Acne

Acne is a chronic inflammation of the pilo sebaceous unit produced by retention of sebum. It appears at puberty and predominantly on the face and chest. The lesions are very diverse: these ranges from acne, pimples, cysts, comedones to abscesses and scars.

Acne affects men and women of all ages.

Rosacea

Rosacea or also known as acne rosacea is a chronic dermatosis of unknown origin, is located on the face and is characterized by blood vessel disease. The redness is taken for shoots and often accompanied by acne-like lesions. In some cases, rosacea may also occur in the neck, chest, scalp and ears.

This chronic disease affects both men and women, and usually begins after age 30. Over time, the redness becomes persistent, and blood vessels may become increasingly visible.

Although there is no cure, a number of medical and laser treatments are available to control and reverse the symptoms. Rhinophyma is called the most common complication of rosacea and this is a hypertrophic deformation of the nose and its treatment of choice is Fractional Laser CO2
